Rebuild reiserfs tree on an encrypted partition

Last Updated: 2006-02-03

When I turned my Laptop on, I received a message that my encrypted password was incorrect or that my partition was corrupt. This does not make any sense since my last shutdown was good. The message explained that I sould rebuild the tree with reiserfsck --rebuild-tree but how do I mount my encrypted partition manually?

Here is how:

Command:
losetup -e twofish256 /dev/loop0 /dev/hda5

After entering the password you can now run your partition check tools on /dev/loop0
